Cisco: Cisco GSX FY26,
Landmark Sculpture
2025
George P. Johnson Experience Marketing worked with Cisco to develop the Landmark Activation for Cisco GSX FY26, an internal sales kickoff for Cisco employees. Cisco needed an attractive, large-scale structural art installation to be the focal point and gathering space for attendees inside the Hub.
The Landmark was designed to bring the community together. To reflect the power of the community, the Landmark lighting responded to the density of people in the space. Once the density crossed a certain threshold, it triggered a crescendo of music and lighting effects. Software and hardware was reused from Cisco Live 2025. A proof of concept demo was built and presented in-person to the clients in under a week. All software development and creative design was done in-house by GPJ.
44’l x 35’w x 22’h structure
16 crescendos triggered
1/3 of active time in “Low Density” lighting state (7 people or fewer)
2/3 of active time in “High Density” lighting state (8 or more people)
Unquantifiable amount of photos and selfies taken.
As the lead creative technologist for GPJ, I worked closely with the GPJ creative team to design the physical structure and its visual identity. I wrote all the software for this project in TouchDesigner. I traveled onsite to Las Vegas, NV to install the experience and maintained it during the entire run of show.
