Cisco: Cisco Live 2025,
Social Lounge Living Wall

2025

George P. Johnson Experience Marketing worked with Cisco to develop an installation called the “Living Wall” as part of the Social Lounge at Cisco Live 2025. This installation served as a unique and engaging photo opportunity for CL25 attendees, where attendees walked in front of an LED wall and watched their movements transform abstract visuals in real-time. This activation had four unique modes and served as both a beautiful ambient art piece and a unique interactive photo opportunity. The entire creative and technology development was completed in-house by GPJ.

The activation achieved significant engagement with almost eight hours of active use per day over the four-day event, proving high throughput and impact. In-house development and GPJ ownership of the camera tracking hardware maximized ROI and guaranteed future longevity and reusability. The real-time movement-to-visual transformation provided a highly shareable, unique photo op, driving significant external reach.

As the lead creative technologist for GPJ, I worked closely with the GPJ creative team to design the experience and its visual identity. I wrote all the software for this project in TouchDesigner. I traveled onsite to San Diego, CA to install the experience and maintained it during the entire run of show.
